Air India Express, India's first international value carrier, has expanded its operations in Rajasthan by inaugurating four new daily flights linking Jodhpur and Udaipur to Bengaluru and Delhi. The launch was marked with special ceremonies at both airports, where inaugural passengers received commemorative boarding passes. The expansion brings Air India Express's presence in Rajasthan to three cities, with over 105 weekly flights statewide—80 from Jaipur and 14 each from Jodhpur and Udaipur. In addition to direct flights to Bengaluru and Delhi, passengers from Jodhpur can access 26 domestic and three international destinations via one-stop connections, while Udaipur offers connectivity to 29 domestic and seven international destinations. The airline's latest Boeing 737-8 aircraft feature upgraded cabins with enhanced seating, USB ports, and hot meals, reflecting a focus on passenger comfort. Air India Express also promotes regional culture through aircraft liveries inspired by Rajasthani art and offers curated holiday packages such as 'Royal Vacation in Rajasthan.' These developments are part of the airline's broader network expansion, which includes new routes from Bengaluru to Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and from Delhi across India. The initiative aligns with Air India Express's 'Xplore More, Xpress More' campaign, encouraging travelers to experience India's diverse cultural heritage while enjoying improved connectivity and service.
