The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has started its high-level All-India Executive Board meeting in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant event as the first such meeting in the city after 41 years. Over 500 top RSS functionaries, including Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, are participating. The meeting, held from October 28 to November 2, 2025, is part of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal conference and aims to finalize action plans for the RSS's centenary year celebrations spanning October 2025 to October 2026. This includes nationwide plans to organize around one lakh Hindu conferences focused on youth and community engagement at local levels. RSS will also initiate a 25 to 40-day door-to-door campaign between November 2025 and January 2026 to promote family values, social responsibility, civic awareness, and the Panch Parivartan initiative, which targets moral and social reform at the grassroots. The centenary was inaugurated in September 2025, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi releasing commemorative stamps and coins, praising the RSS for its century-long contributions to nation-building, cultural unity, and social service. Founded in 1925 by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the RSS continues to focus on national consciousness, cultural awareness, and civic duty among citizens through these extensive programs and deliberations.
