Amit Shah Confirms Nitish Kumar as NDA's Chief Ministerial Candidate in Bihar
Union Home Minister Amit Shah officially declared Nitish Kumar as the NDA's candidate for Bihar Chief Ministership, asserting that there is no vacancy for the CM post in Bihar or the PM post in Delhi. Shah criticized the INDIA bloc for alleged corruption and a potential return to lawlessness, presenting NDA as a strong alliance ready for victory.
Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah confirmed Nitish Kumar as the NDA's chief ministerial candidate for the Bihar Assembly elections, dismissing any speculation of a vacancy for the CM position. He emphasized that Nitish Kumar's leadership and the Modi government's support have accelerated Bihar's development. Shah also drew parallels by stating that just as Narendra Modi will continue as Prime Minister with no vacancy in that post, similarly, there is no opening for the CM post in Bihar. Criticizing the opposition INDIA bloc, Shah accused them of corruption and warned of a potential return to 'jungle raj' if they come to power. He questioned their stance on the Popular Front of India (PFI) and presented the NDA as a strong, united alliance prepared to win decisively in the upcoming elections. Shah's statements were delivered during public meetings in several Bihar constituencies while strongly challenging the opposition's claims and leadership choices. This move marks a clear signal from the NDA about retaining established leadership for continued governance and development in Bihar.
