Police vehicles quickly initiated firefighting efforts, bringing most of the blaze under control before three fire tenders fully extinguished it.
A significant fire erupted at Erythro Pharma Limited, located in the Gaddapotharam area of Sangareddy district, on Monday, April 20, around 4:30 pm. The incident was reportedly triggered by a chemical blast, specifically originating from sparks that flew out of a reactor while workers were engaged in loading chemical solvents. The presence of highly flammable substances in nearby drums exacerbated the situation, causing the fire to intensify rapidly.Upon detection of the fire, workers at the facility promptly evacuated, a critical action that ensured no casualties were reported from the incident. Local authorities responded swiftly, with two police vehicles already present at the scene immediately assisting in dousing the flames. Their quick intervention proved crucial, as most of the fire was brought under control even before the arrival of three fire tenders dispatched from Patancheru, Jeedimetla, and Narsapur.
