The CPI(M) released its manifesto for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections, aligning with the INDIA bloc's focus on employment generation. Senior leader Brinda Karat criticized the ruling NDA's campaign as desperate and negative, highlighting governance failures and lawlessness under NDA rule. The party emphasized its commitment to addressing unemployment and social justice for Bihar's residents.

The CPI(M), as part of the opposition INDIA bloc, unveiled its manifesto for the Bihar assembly elections 2025 with a primary emphasis on employment generation for the state's residents. Senior party leader Brinda Karat sharply criticized the ruling NDA for running a negative and desperate campaign, accusing it of failing to showcase achievements despite two decades in power. Karat pointed to incidents of lawlessness in Bihar, citing the killing of a Jan Suraaj Party supporter allegedly linked to a local JD(U) candidate, as evidence of prevailing mafia and jungle raj under the NDA government. She rejected accusations that the INDIA bloc would bring lawlessness, asserting the manifesto focuses on job creation and better governance. Additionally, Karat condemned divisive statements from BJP leaders, defending opposition members. The CPI(M) manifesto echoes the broader INDIA bloc’s commitment to ensuring employment and ending forced migration of workers from Bihar due to lack of livelihood opportunities. This stance distinguishes the party’s platform from that of the ruling NPC, framing the election as a choice for change towards equity, justice, and dignity for Bihar’s working class and marginalized groups.
