On November 3, 2025, Delhi’s air quality remained very poor with an AQI of 316, as a haze covered the city. Twenty-eight monitoring stations recorded AQI values above 300, indicating significant pollution. Weather conditions including weak winds and seasonal factors contributed to high pollution levels and reduced dispersion of particulate matter.

Delhi experienced heavy haze on November 3, 2025, resulting in an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 316, categorized as 'very poor' by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Twenty-eight monitoring stations measured AQI levels above 300. The poor air quality is linked to weak winds from the northwest and a dip in temperatures, which prevent pollutants from dispersing, allowing particulate matter to settle closer to the ground. The India Meteorological Department reported a minimum temperature of 17.9°C, humidity at 64%, and maximum temperature expected near 30°C with mist. The Air Quality Early Warning System forecasts that air pollution will remain very poor through November 3 and may worsen to severe levels by November 4. Residents continued to experience low visibility and health advisories recommend vulnerable groups limit outdoor exposure. This persistent pollution follows a deteriorating trend since the Diwali festival period, exacerbated by seasonal pollution sources and meteorological conditions.
