Delhi experienced a slight improvement in air quality on Friday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 268, placing it in the 'poor' category according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). This is an improvement from the previous day, when the AQI was 352, categorized as 'very poor'. Many areas in the city reported clearer skies and better visibility. Monitoring stations such as Anand Vihar, Aya Nagar, and Punjabi Bagh recorded AQI values in the 'poor' range, while CRRI Mathura Road, Chandani Chowk, and Lodhi Road reported 'moderate' air quality. However, several locations including Alipur, Ashok Vihar, and Wazirpur still experienced 'very poor' air quality. The city continues to face challenges post-Diwali, with AQI levels fluctuating between 'poor' and 'very poor'.
