Delhi's air quality has worsened, with AQI readings exceeding 300 in many areas, including Anand Vihar at 329. PM2.5 is the main pollutant, driven by stubble burning in neighboring states and transport emissions. Favorable winds provided brief relief, but lower wind speeds are expected to worsen pollution.

Delhi's air quality has deteriorated, falling back into the 'very poor' category with AQI readings above 300 in several areas, notably Anand Vihar at 329. PM2.5 remains the primary pollutant, with significant contributions from stubble burning in neighboring states and transport emissions. Although favorable wind conditions briefly improved air quality, a decrease in wind speed is expected to exacerbate pollution levels. The air quality is forecast to remain in the 'very poor' category between November 6 and 8. Since Diwali, Delhi's air quality has fluctuated between 'poor' and 'very poor,' occasionally reaching 'severe' levels. Gurgaon also continues to experience toxic air, with AQI readings in the 'very poor' range.
