Delhi Police’s Aradhya Porwal Wins 2025 Junior National Squash Championship

Aradhya Porwal, daughter of a Delhi Police officer, won the Girls Under-17 category at the Junior National Squash Championship 2025 in Chennai. Ranked No. 1 in India since July 2025, she has represented India internationally, earning a bronze medal at the Asian Junior Championships. Her recent achievements include reaching the top 32 at the World Junior Championship in Egypt, highlighting her as a leading young Indian squash talent.

Aradhya Porwal, a promising young squash player and daughter of a Delhi Police officer, triumphed at the Junior National Squash Championship 2025 (Girls Under-17) held in Chennai. This prestigious tournament was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India. Aradhya has been ranked No. 1 in the All-India Girls Under-17 category since July 2025 by the Squash Rackets Federation of India. She has a strong international record, having represented India at the Asian Junior Championships in China (2023), Hong Kong (winning a bronze medal), and South Korea (2025). Earlier in 2025, she competed at the World Junior Championship in Egypt, securing a place among the top 32 out of 125 participants worldwide. Starting squash at age seven, Aradhya’s dedication, discipline, and perseverance have made her a role model within the Delhi Police family and an inspiration for young athletes across India. The Commissioner of Police, Delhi, Satish Golchha, praised her remarkable achievements and wished her success in her sporting career. Her victory not only confirms her national dominance but also positions her as one of the brightest prospects for Indian squash on the global stage.
