Delhi–Mumbai Expressway: Transforming India’s Infrastructure
The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway, India’s longest at 1,386 km, is nearing completion. It spans six states, reducing travel time from Delhi to Mumbai to 12 hours. The expressway connects major cities like Jaipur, Kota, Vadodara, and Surat, boosting regional trade and tourism.
The Delhi–Mumbai Expressway is a massive infrastructure project connecting Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Expected to be fully operational by December 2025, it will reduce travel time between Delhi and Mumbai from 24 to 12 hours. The expressway is divided into nine phases, with over 80% of the work completed. Key cities along the route include Jaipur, Kota, Indore, Vadodara, and Surat, enhancing regional connectivity and economic activities. Once completed, the expressway will significantly improve trade, tourism, and industrial movement, with planned logistics parks and manufacturing clusters near key interchanges.
