Fake BARC Scientist Misled Police on 'Dead' Brother Arrested for Espionage

Adil Hussaini, a 59-year-old resident of Jamshedpur, was arrested by the Delhi Police for alleged espionage and running a fake passport racket. His brother, Akthar Qutubuddin Hussaini, had posed as a scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and misled the Mumbai police by claiming Adil was deceased. Akthar was arrested on October 17 for using forged identity cards. Adil had traveled to Pakistan and was found with forged documents. The case is part of a larger investigation into a fake passport and spying network. Both brothers are accused of involvement in espionage activities, with Adil charged with criminal conspiracy, cheating, and forgery.
