GFS Chemicals Launches WATERMARK® Karl Fischer CRM Water Standards
GFS Chemicals has introduced Certified Reference Materials (CRM) for its WATERMARK® Karl Fischer water standards, following ISO 17034 accreditation. These NIST traceable CRMs, offered in four concentrations, provide enhanced accuracy and metrological traceability. They enable laboratories, particularly in highly regulated industries like pharmaceutical and food, to meet stringent compliance requirements and ensure data defensibility. This launch reinforces GFS Chemicals' commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products that exceed regulatory demands.
GFS Chemicals® has announced the launch of Certified Reference Materials (CRM) for its WATERMARK® Karl Fischer water standards, marking a significant advancement in laboratory accuracy and compliance. This introduction follows the company's recent ISO 17034 accreditation, enabling them to manufacture NIST traceable CRM Karl Fischer Water Standards. These new CRMs are available in four precise concentrations: 10.0 mg/g (1.0%), 1.0 mg/g (0.1%), 0.10 mg/g (0.01%), and 0.05 mg/g (0.005%).The primary benefit of these WATERMARK Karl Fischer CRM water standards is their provision of an enhanced uncertainty calculation, delivering the highest level of accuracy and metrological traceability. This ensures that laboratories, especially those in highly regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical, food, and other industries with rigorous testing requirements, can meet national and international standards and produce defensible data. Senior Product Manager, Rhonda Hicks, stated that the development and release of these CRM water standards are rooted in GFS Chemicals' goal of meeting customer needs by providing high-quality, reliable products that consistently exceed the ever-changing compliance and regulatory landscape. While GFS Chemicals already offers standard reference materials, the CRMs provide a superior level of assurance for critical applications.
