IIT Delhi, Simplilearn and Microsoft Launch New AI and Data Analytics Programs
IIT Delhi, in collaboration with Simplilearn and Microsoft, has introduced two Professional Certificate Programs focused on AI and data analytics. These programs cover skills in generative AI, machine learning, data science, and intelligent automation with hands-on projects, masterclasses, and certification. Graduates gain industry-relevant expertise and opportunities for incubation funding, addressing India's growing demand for AI and data talent.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, through its Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) and I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC), has partnered with Simplilearn and Microsoft to launch two advanced Professional Certificate Programs to meet India's fast-growing demand for AI and data analytics professionals. The first program focuses on Data Analytics, Generative AI, and Adaptive Systems, training learners in Excel-based business analytics, SQL, Python, Tableau, and IBM tools, alongside generative AI applications. The second program offers comprehensive training in Generative AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, MLOps, and Intelligent Automation, featuring over 12 hands-on projects and real-world case studies. Participants will receive certificates jointly from IHFC-IIT Delhi and Microsoft, gain access to industry expert masterclasses, and select candidates may secure up to $225,500 in incubation and funding support. These offerings align with market projections showing rapid growth in the global big data analytics market and India’s generative AI sector, reflecting surging demand for AI-savvy talent. The partnership aims to bridge the skill gap, equipping technologists with future-ready capabilities to address industry challenges while fostering innovation and career growth in a competitive digital economy.
