At the same time, Rolling Loud, the world's biggest hip-hop festival, makes its debut in Mumbai on November 22–23 with stars like Wiz Khalifa and Don Toliver, marking a major milestone for hip-hop culture in India. The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival on November 14–15 offers a contrasting experience with folk, pop, and indie performances amid natural scenic beauty, featuring artists such as Jason Derulo and The Script. Fans of nostalgic R&B can catch Akon on his India tour in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai throughout November, while Passenger brings soulful folk-pop with intimate concerts later in the month. In December, Post Malone will perform a one-night-only show in Guwahati, a notable choice highlighting the expanding reach of live pop-rap performances. Finally, the Sunburn Festival returns to Mumbai from December 19–21, promising a large-scale EDM celebration with internationally acclaimed DJs like David Guetta and Richie Hawtin. Together, these events reveal a diverse and dynamic Indian music landscape, catering to various tastes from electronic dance music to hip-hop, folk, and rock, and blending urban energy with cultural and natural settings.
