Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has made significant strides in science, technology, and innovation, positioning itself as a global technology leader. The Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 will be held in New Delhi to showcase progress, foster collaboration, and define India's innovation roadmap across 11 thematic areas vital to its self-reliance and future development.

India has entered a new era of technological and scientific advancement driven by visionary leadership and a collaborative ecosystem comprising government, industry, and academia. Over the past decade, transformative programs like Digital India, Startup India, and Swachh Bharat have catalyzed progress in digital payments, biotechnology, space exploration (Chandrayaan, Gaganyaan), and connectivity with 5G expanding nationwide. The bioeconomy grew from $10 billion in 2014 to $165.7 billion in 2024, highlighting India's leadership in biofuels and green chemicals. Ambitious sectors such as green hydrogen, quantum science, semiconductor manufacturing, and precision agriculture emerge as key pillars. ESTIC 2025, convened by 13 ministries and inaugurated by the Prime Minister, will serve as a national platform to align science and technology with developmental goals through 11 strategic thematic tracks including AI, bio-manufacturing, digital communications, energy and environment, health technologies, and space technology. The conclave aims to connect diverse stakeholders to co-create pathways toward Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat 2047, India’s vision of a fully developed innovation-led nation by its centenary of independence. This event marks India’s growing stature as a global scientific superpower and innovation hub, celebrating current achievements and charting the future of sustainable and inclusive growth.
