In 2025, India's philanthropy reached an all-time high, with the country's richest families donating ₹10,380 crore, an 85% increase over three years. Education remains the top cause, attracting ₹4,166 crore from 107 donors, led by Shiv Nadar's ₹2,392 crore. Healthcare saw a 55% rise to ₹971 crore, with the Bajaj family at the forefront. Environment and sustainability surged 148% to ₹438 crore, while arts and culture jumped 212% to ₹309 crore. Sports for Development debuted with ₹158 crore, reflecting new priorities. Rural transformation, water conservation, research, and community development also received notable funding. The top 10 families contributed over half the total, highlighting concentrated giving.
