LANXESS India Honored with Three Prestigious Indian Chemical Council Awards

These awards recognize the company's commitment to safety, security, sustainability, and responsible chemical industry practices.
LANXESS India was honored with three prestigious industry recognitions from the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) in Mumbai. The accolades include the ICC - Vinati Organics Award for Excellence in Management of Health & Safety awarded to the Jhagadia site, and two ICC - Epsilon Carbon Certificates of Merit recognizing LANXESS as the best compliant company for adherence to the 'Security Code' and 'Product Safety & Stewardship Code' under the Responsible Care program. The awards underline LANXESS' strong emphasis on maintaining high safety standards, responsible production, and sustainable operations throughout the product lifecycle. The honors were presented by Shri Deepankar Aron, Joint Secretary Chemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. Senior management from LANXESS India, including Vice Chairman and Managing Director Namitesh Roy Choudhury, accepted the awards. Roy Choudhury highlighted that safety and sustainability are central to their business philosophy and expressed gratitude towards the ICC for recognizing their rigorous safety and responsible practices. Additionally, the Certificates of Merit were received by LANXESS India's Head of Procurement & Logistics and Head of Site Health, Safety, and Environment at the Jhagadia site, reflecting company-wide commitment.
