The situation escalated when a member of that group, described as wearing a black shirt, followed Lamba to the washroom and allegedly verbally abused him. When Lamba’s friend tried to intervene, a heated argument ensued. As Lamba and his friend attempted to leave, the accused group reportedly blocked their exit, continued the verbal abuse, and one member allegedly slapped Vijayant. Club security personnel intervened to separate the groups and prevent further violence. Based on Lamba’s complaint, the Delhi Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) under the newly enacted Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
