On November 2, heavy rainfall is expected in parts of North Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh, with thunderstorms likely in West Bengal. Rajasthan will see light rain in some areas, while Delhi faces poor air quality with smog and fog in the morning. Snowfall is anticipated in hilly regions, and temperatures in many states are predicted to drop, increasing chilliness and health risks.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts continuing rainfall on November 2 despite the official withdrawal of the monsoon, influenced by a low-pressure area and other weather systems. North Bengal is likely to experience heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds. The Seemanchal region of Bihar and parts of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are also predicted to have rainfall. Rajasthan will see light and scattered rainfall, particularly in Udaipur and Kota divisions, due to a weakening Arabian Sea system, causing temperatures to drop further. The national capital Delhi and surrounding NCR will wake up to toxic air pollution with AQI levels entering the 'very poor' category, along with morning smog and light fog but clearer skies by afternoon. Temperatures in Delhi are expected to range between a maximum of 31°C and a minimum of 18°C. Snowfall is expected in the hilly states, while clear weather with lower morning temperatures is forecast in other areas, likely increasing the chill and minor seasonal health issues. Residents are advised to be cautious due to the weather conditions. This varied weather pattern reflects the ongoing transition from post-monsoon to early winter across India.
