President Ilham Aliyev Visits Agrochemical Production Facility in Sabirabad
On October 28, President Ilham Aliyev visited the agrochemical production facility of Humix LLC in the Sabirabad Industrial District. The facility, established in 2021, produces various types of fertilizers with an annual capacity of 18,000 tons and employs 16 people. Supported by a 1.45 million manat investment and preferential loan from the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, the facility supplies the domestic market and exports products internationally.
President Ilham Aliyev toured the Humix LLC agrochemical production facility in Sabirabad Industrial District on October 28, 2025. Since receiving resident status in 2021, the facility produces organic-mineral (powder), chemical (liquid and powder), and granular fertilizers, using technologies sourced from Türkiye, China, and local developers. It has an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons, designed to meet both domestic fertilizers demand and export needs. The facility has created 16 permanent jobs in the region. The Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, operating under the Ministry of Economy, contributed a preferential loan of 497,000 manats towards the total investment of 1.45 million manats and issued an investment incentive certificate, supporting the plant's operations and growth. This visit highlights the government’s commitment to developing Azerbaijan's agrochemical industry, facilitating technological adoption, and contributing to economic development and job creation in Sabirabad Industrial District.
