QatarEnergy Signs 17-Year LNG Deal with India's GSPC

QatarEnergy has entered into a 17-year sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC) to supply up to 1 million tons per annum of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India, with deliveries commencing in 2026. This agreement builds on their previous long-term LNG supply deal signed in 2019. HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and CEO of QatarEnergy, emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting India's growing energy needs, enhancing energy security, and promoting a cleaner energy mix. The collaboration reflects QatarEnergy's commitment to expanding global partnerships and advancing low-carbon energy solutions. The deal also underscores the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between Qatar and India in the energy sector.
