Senvion India and Integrum Sign MoU for 50 Wind Turbines Across Five States
Senvion India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Integrum Energy to supply and commission up to 50 units of the 4.2M160 wind turbine, potentially adding 210 MW capacity across Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka. The turbines are engineered and manufactured with over 85% local components and deliveries will begin in Q2 FY27.
During Windergy India 2025, Senvion India unveiled its engineered-in-India 4.2M160 wind turbine prototype and announced a partnership with Integrum Energy through an MoU to supply and commission up to 50 turbines. These turbines, part of the modular 4XM platform, feature a 160-metre rotor, advanced control systems, and high local content exceeding 85%. They are designed for higher energy output and reduced lifecycle costs across diverse wind conditions. The installation will span five states—Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka—representing a potential capacity addition of 210 MW. Deliveries are scheduled to start in the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, with phased erection and commissioning following. Both companies emphasize the importance of local innovation, manufacturing self-reliance, and strategic partnerships in advancing India’s renewable energy ambitions. The collaboration supports Senvion India’s vision of scalable, reliable, and impactful clean energy solutions, while Integrum Energy focuses on expanding its hybrid and standalone wind power projects to serve commercial and industrial customers efficiently and sustainably.
