Snowman Logistics has expanded into the chemical logistics segment by launching its first A-Grade dry warehouse in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu. This 50,000 sqft facility, with a 5,500-metric-ton capacity, is equipped for safe storage and distribution of hazardous chemicals, featuring advanced safety systems. Partnering with BDP UGL Global Logistics, Snowman aims to establish global best practices and enhance compliance standards in India's chemical supply chain, marking a strategic diversification beyond cold-chain services.

Snowman Logistics, a key player in India's integrated temperature-controlled logistics, has strategically ventured into the chemical logistics sector. This significant expansion is marked by the inauguration of its first A-Grade dry warehouse in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, specifically designed for the storage and distribution of hazardous chemicals. The facility spans 50,000 sqft and boasts a storage capacity of 5,500 metric tons, utilizing a G+5 racking system.The new warehouse incorporates state-of-the-art storage and material-handling technologies, ensuring efficient, safe, and scalable operations for chemical products. To bolster safety, Snowman has installed advanced monitoring systems and comprehensive fire-protection infrastructure, guaranteeing full compliance and enhanced asset protection for its customers. Sunil Nair, CEO of Snowman Logistics, expressed excitement about expanding beyond cold-chain logistics, emphasizing that the company's strong operational discipline and quality focus will translate effectively into this new sector.Crucially, Snowman Logistics has partnered with BDP UGL Global Logistics (I) Pvt. Ltd., a specialist in automotive and specialty chemicals.
