Stallion India Fluorochemicals (SIFL) has started groundwork for a new 10,000 MT R-32 refrigerant manufacturing facility in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, with construction set to begin on November 1, 2025. The plant aims to strengthen India's domestic refrigerant production, reduce import dependence, and support the transition to cleaner cooling technologies. Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL), a leading player in India's refrigerant and industrial gas sector, has commenced preliminary work for a major new manufacturing facility in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, dedicated to producing R-32 refrigerant. The plant, with a capacity of 10,000 metric tons, represents a significant expansion of SIFL’s operations and is part of the company’s strategy to bolster India’s self-sufficiency in refrigerant production. Construction is scheduled to start on November 1, 2025, following the finalization of key contracts and technology transfers. Once operational, the facility is expected to substantially reduce the country’s reliance on imported refrigerants and support the adoption of more environmentally friendly cooling solutions.
