Stallion India Fluorochemicals to Build HFO Manufacturing Plant in Rajasthan

Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL) has signed an MoU with the Government of Rajasthan to invest approximately ₹200 crore in a new Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) manufacturing plant at Bhilwara. Slated to begin production work in 2027, this facility is a key part of SIFL's expansion towards advanced, sustainable, low-global-warming-potential refrigerants. The company anticipates this strategic move will significantly enhance its product portfolio, competitiveness, and contribute to a 30-35% revenue CAGR over the next three years, supporting India's self-reliance in fluorochemicals.

Stallion India Fluorochemicals Limited (SIFL), a prominent integrated refrigerants and industrial gases company, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan. This agreement paves the way for the establishment of a Hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) manufacturing plant in Bhilwara (Hurda), Rajasthan. The project involves an investment of approximately ₹200 crore, with the commencement of work on the production facility planned for 2027.Mr. Shazad Rustomji, Managing Director & CEO of SIFL, highlighted the significance of this MoU, describing it as a crucial step in the company's expansion journey into advanced and sustainable refrigerant solutions. HFOs are recognized as the next generation of refrigerants due to their low-global-warming-potential, and this new facility is expected to substantially enhance SIFL's product range and long-term competitive edge in the market.The company's expansion strategy is being implemented in a calibrated and phased manner, with the R32 project scheduled for commissioning by October 2026, followed by the HFO plant initiation. SIFL expresses confidence in achieving a targeted 30-35% revenue Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) over the upcoming three years. This initiative is also aligned with India's broader vision of fostering self-reliance in specialty chemicals and fluorochemicals, aiming to create a robust domestic manufacturing base and deliver sustained value to all stakeholders.
