Ukrainian drones targeted Russia's Samara region overnight, striking near the Tolyattikauchuk and KuibyshevAzot chemical plants, with footage indicating a fire. This marked a repeated attack on KuibyshevAzot. Concurrently, Ukraine's Defense Forces hit the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region and caused damage near the Port of Kavkaz. These coordinated strikes demonstrate continued pressure on Russian industrial and military-supporting infrastructure, extending deeper into Russian territory.

Ukrainian drones launched a significant overnight attack, targeting industrial infrastructure in Russia's Samara and Krasnodar regions. In Samara, drones struck an area close to the Tolyattikauchuk and KuibyshevAzot chemical plants, leading to reports of multiple explosions from Tolyatti residents and online footage showing a fire in the industrial zone. Open-source analysis by ASTRA, cited by Militarnyi, linked the blaze to the vicinity of these two key chemical enterprises, though the specific facility hit remained unconfirmed. This incident marks a repeated assault on the Samara region's industrial base, following an earlier drone strike on KuibyshevAzot on March 11. Tolyattikauchuk is a petrochemical producer of synthetic rubber, while KuibyshevAzot manufactures nitrogen fertilizers and chemical feedstock, making both vital to Russia's broader industrial complex. Simultaneously, Ukraine's Defense Forces executed a separate strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region, reportedly hitting its crucial AT-22/4 crude processing unit. Debris from these attacks also impacted the Port of Kavkaz, where Russian authorities confirmed damage to a technical vessel and three injuries. Ukraine’s General Staff later corroborated strikes on both the Afipsky refinery and port infrastructure, characterizing them as facilities directly supporting the Russian military. These coordinated drone operations demonstrate Ukraine's ongoing strategy to disrupt Russian industrial and logistical capabilities, extending the reach of its attacks to strategically important targets deeper within Russian territory.
