Ukraine's General Staff confirmed that during the night of November 4, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes on the Lukoil–Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region, and the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant in Bashkortostan, Russia. The refinery, with a maximum processing capacity of 18 million tons per year, is a key supplier to the Russian military. The attack resulted in hits on the facility and a fire, with the extent of damage still being assessed. The Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant, a major producer of aviation kerosene components, also sustained significant damage to one of its workshops. These actions are part of Ukraine's ongoing efforts to undermine Russia's military-economic and offensive capabilities. Additionally, Ukrainian forces confirmed a previous strike on a fuel and lubricants depot in occupied Kherson, destroying nearly twenty storage tanks and two pumping stations. The operations were conducted using Ukrainian-made drones operated by the Defense Intelligence and Special Operations Forces.
