At DPRJ Universal, we are committed to supplying high-quality industrial chemicals and solvents. Due to the sensitive nature of chemical products and B2B trade practices, we maintain a strict policy regarding shipping and returns. Please read the following guidelines carefully.
1. Shipping & Transport Terms (Ex-Works)
Standard Shipping Policy: Ex-Godown / Ex-Works
All orders are processed on an Ex-Works basis from our Bhiwandi warehouse.
- Handover: DPRJ Universal will load the material onto the customer's preferred transport carrier at our facility free of charge.
- Freight Charges: The customer is responsible for paying all freight and transportation charges directly to the transporter upon delivery ("To Pay" basis). We do not collect shipping charges unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
- Transit Risk: The risk of loss or damage transfers to the buyer once the material is handed over to the carrier/transporter. We recommend insuring high-value shipments.
2. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are only accepted under the following specific conditions:
- The chemical material is proven to be impure or does not match the technical specifications (Certificate of Analysis - COA) provided at the time of purchase.
- The wrong product grade was delivered by us (e.g., delivered Industrial Grade instead of USP).
- The product packaging is significantly defective/leaking before loading onto the transport (must be noted on the LR copy).
Note: Returns are not accepted for change of mind, market price fluctuations, incorrect ordering by the customer, or damage occurring during transit (transport responsibility).
3. Notification Period (7 Business Days)
You must inform DPRJ Universal about any quality defect or impurity within 7 business days from the date the material reaches your location (delivery date).
Claims made after this 7-day window will strictly not be entertained as chemical properties can change due to improper storage at the buyer's end.
4. Required Proof for Return Claims
To process a return claim for impurity or defects, you must provide valid proof. This includes:
- Lab Test Report: A valid test report from a certified laboratory showing the discrepancy against our Certificate of Analysis (COA).
- Photos/Videos: Clear images of the batch number on the drum/bag and the condition of the material.
- Original Invoice: Proof of purchase identifying the batch number.
5. Return Approval & Shipping Costs
No return shipment will be accepted without prior written approval.
- Email your claim with the required proof to [email protected].
- Our Quality Assurance team will review your evidence within 3-5 business days.
Who Pays for Return Shipping?
- If Defective/Impure (Our Fault): DPRJ Universal will bear the return shipping costs. We will either arrange for a reverse pickup or reimburse the freight charges you incur to send the material back to our Bhiwandi warehouse.
- Other Returns: For any other returns approved as a special case (goodwill), the customer must arrange and pay for return transport.
6. Refunds and Replacements
Once the returned material is received and inspected at our warehouse:
- Approved Returns: We will initiate a full refund or send a replacement batch (based on your preference) within 7 business days.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment (Bank Transfer/Cheque).
